Week 2 - Up, up and stay the hell away
"At
work today those slackers in IT finally set up my login password for the
computer. Honestly I was on the phone to them all day and even then they
only set me up after lunch. Spent the afternoon on the phone to some really
important clients of ours, am starting to form some really good
relationships already with them. William says there is a conference coming
up where I might get the chance to do a little
networking with our North Europe clients; it’s only my second day
and already I’m being invited to executive meetings.
Sandra was half an hour late yesterday morning which is slightly annoying,
but fortunately she stayed late (she worked right up until I left). Malcolm
wasn’t in today because he was “sick,” I can tell the
boss wasn’t happy with that!"
